“Tell me, what is it you plan to do
with your one wild and precious life?”
Mary Oliver asks this question at the end of her poem “The Summer Day.” If this question resonates with you, whether you are an individual or part of an organization, coaching may well be the best way to begin answering it.

For individuals, the process generally involves about two hours a month, spread over three 40-minute telephone sessions. You may leave the session with homework, an inquiry to ponder, or something else to do between sessions. The value from our work together will come partly from our sessions, but greatly from what you do with the time between. It can be an exciting time of discovery and growth!
Coaching with businesses, organizations, and churches generally starts with an in-person or telephone interview with the appropriate leaders and board, team, or committee. We would then design a process together that might involve one or more site visits, interviews, group coaching, evaluation and assessment, leadership training, vision and purpose development, or whatever else it might take to help you get what you need in order to go where you want to go.

Health & Fitness Coaching
You’ve tried every diet known to humanity and made up a few of your own. You’ve joined a gym and stopped going. Maybe you joined and never went back (like I did the first year!) The treadmill in your bedroom makes a great clothes hanger; the ThighMaster is under the bed, laced with cobwebs; the workout and yoga DVDs have gone on to their “forever home.”
You know that the secret to good health will not come from a “one size fits all” approach or a gimmick. It will come from inside you. Let’s work together to find the path that’s motivates you and keeps you on track to good health and vital living. Learn more
Coaching in Organizations
As the leader of your organization, you know that you would benefit from having someone to reflect with, someone who doesn’t report to you and can be honest with you and, most of all, encourage you to be honest with yourself. I can help you do that.

“I had the pleasure of journeying with Jeanny through the coach training and certification process. (And it is a journey!) I experienced Jeanny as a coach and fellow-student. Jeanny is creative, genuine, and honest. She cares deeply for others and holds nothing back in the coaching process.” – January 7, 2011
You know that your teams can work together better. You may have tried “team building” exercises that built more resistance than team spirit. I will work with your committees, boards, and teams to help them find their vision and purpose and then work together to get where they want to go.
You or your managers have spotted some people in your organization that you believe have the gifts for increased leadership and responsibility in your organization. They just need some help with reflection and growth to develop those gifts. They are ideal candidates for you to invest in by making coaching available to them. Learn more
Coaching in Churches
Your church is in a pastoral transition and you want to do a self-study to help the search committee do its work.
Your congregation wants a retreat for boards and committees to learn to work together with good spirits, fun, cooperation and purpose.
You want to give your pastor the gift of a partner who will listen, ask questions, and help reflect on the joys, concerns, and opportunities in ministry.
I can help you. Learn more
